General Machinist – Tool & Die

Location: Toronto, ON – near Pearson Airport

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Schedule: Monday–Thursday – 4-day work week / 3-day weekends

Wage: Competitive, based on experience

Required: General Machinist Certificate

Tangibles Ltd. is a well-established plastics manufacturing company looking for an experienced General Machinist to manufacture, repair and maintain extrusion dies, tooling, jigs and fixtures.

Responsibilities
Operate manual lathes, milling machines, grinders, drill presses and saws.
Manufacture and repair tooling to close tolerances.
Read drawings and accurately measure components.
Troubleshoot and modify tooling to support production.
Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
Work independently and perform other duties as required.

Qualifications
General Machinist Certificate.
Strong manual machining experience.
Experience working to close tolerances.
Ability to read mechanical drawings and use precision measuring equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Reliable,



detail-oriented and able to work independently.
EDM and/or extrusion tooling experience is an asset.
