Job Summary
Greatwest Maintenance is a locally owned and operated material handling dealership, looking to add to our growing team.
This role involves providing on-site, maintenance, and repair services on forklifts, skid steers, areal equipment and other material handling equipment in Manitoba.
The ideal candidate will have robust problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to service delivery.
Heavy Duty and automotive technician's skillsets are an asset.
Responsibilities
Install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment at client sites
Conduct routine maintenance checks and perform necessary adjustments or replacements.
Document service activities, including repairs performed, parts used, and time spent on each task.
Maintain a clean and protected work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
Keep up-to-date with product updates, technical manuals,
and industry best practices.
Skills
Proven experience in technical repair, maintenance, or related field service roles.
Solid mechanical, electrical, or electronic troubleshooting skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive attitude toward resolving issues.
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams accurately.
Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to travel frequently to various locations.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple service calls efficiently.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $30.00-$47.00 per hour
