Summary

The Framer/Carpenter shall have the ability to take 1 or 2 general labourers to a construction site, be given directions and able to complete construction tasks with minimal supervision. The F/C should be able to manage the tasks while leading and delegating according to the team's strengths and weaknesses. The F/C would report to the Superintendent for process, technical and troubleshooting questions. The ability to estimate materials and equipment required for the tasks.

Skills & Abilities:

-Minimum 5 years construction experience (specifically: framing w/ wood & steel, aluminum flatstock, siding etc.)

-Write and speak in English

-Valid driver’s licence and own transportation

-Experience with trailers

-Leadership skills

-Punctual and responsible

-Willing to learn and grow into the next role





Not Required But Considered An Asset:

-Write and speak in French

-Ability to read & understand construction drawings

-Familiar with the Ontario Building Code

-Valid Canadian Passport

-WHMIS, First Aid, Working at Heights, Elevated Platforms certified

Pay: $25.00-$31.00 per hour
