Job Summary

BarrierBoss Fencing Ltd. is seeking a motivated and dependable General Labourer to join our production team in West Kelowna. In this role, you will perform a variety of physical tasks supporting our fencing manufacturing operations on the shop floor. Your energy and attention to detail will help ensure production runs smoothly and safely.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Responsibilities
Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials and equipment on the production floor
Prepare work areas by cleaning, organizing, and setting up tools and supplies
Support production staff by holding materials, measuring, or assisting with fabrication tasks
Follow all WorkSafeBC and site safety protocols at all times
Operate basic machinery or tools as trained and authorized
Help with shop cleanup and waste disposal to keep the work area tidy and safe
Perform routine inspections of tools and equipment, reporting any issues promptly
Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the shift

Experience




Prior experience in general labour, manufacturing, or production environments is preferred but not required
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs
Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward safety and collaboration
Basic understanding of workplace safety procedures and protocols
Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from supervisors

PPE Requirements
Steel-toed boots required (employee-provided)
All other required PPE provided by BarrierBoss
