This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills in a laid back bistro setting while working alongside a dedicated team committed to excellence. You must have full time, open availability and be available evenings, weekends and holidays.

Duties
Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu, highlighting specials and upselling opportunities to enhance their experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system TouchBistro, ensuring timely and precise entry
Serve food and drinks with professionalism, ensuring proper presentation, food safety, and sanitation standards are maintained throughout service
Manage guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure maximum satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including tables, utensils,



and service stations in accordance with food safety regulations
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and delivery efficiently, ensuring guest expectations are exceeded

Experience
Proven food service experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment demonstrating excellent guest service skills are preferred
Familiarity with POS systems such as OpenTable, TouchBistro or similar platforms for order processing are preferred
Robust time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations within the food industry
Previous restaurant experience emphasizing serving, upselling techniques, and guest services in a hospitality setting preferred
Experience working in a team-oriented setting, comfortability with tip pool, and a focus on hospitality excellence
