You will utilize your expertise in geotechnical engineering to conduct detailed analyses, develop design solutions, and ensure stability in mine waste management. Collaborating with a diverse group of engineers, your role is critical for advancing sustainable mining technologies. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee tailings facility design projects with multi-disciplinary teams
Conduct feasibility studies and engineering analysis
Identify and address geotechnical issues in mine waste projects
Implement monitoring programs for field operations
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field
Minimum 12 years of industry experience
Valid engineering registration in Ontario, Canada
Proficient in relevant modeling software
