Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Farm Labourer to join our agricultural team.

This position is from January 5, 2027 - June 30, 2027. There are 3 seasonal, contract positions available.

Wage: $17.95/hr

Location: Thornton, ON.

This position offers an excellent chance to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of farm work while working in a positive, team-oriented workplace.

Job Duties (include the following, but not limited to):
Assist with planting, watering, and harvesting Microgreens and other seasonal vegetables
Grade and pack vegetables for wholesale and market
Weed and maintain crop areas
Clean greenhouses and general work areas

Skill requirements:
1 to 2 of relevant experience
No formal degree/diploma required
Experience with farming systems and understanding of agriculture practices
Familiarity with hand tools for various farm tasks around the farm
Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks and stamina for long hours working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Must be able to stand for extended period of time and perform repetitive tasks

Pay: $17.95 per hour
