Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive General QC Inspector to uphold the highest standards of quality within our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities
Perform basic visual and dimensional inspections on fabricated parts and assemblies
Read mechanical drawings and verify basic dimensions, quantities and workmanship requirements
Use common measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, squares and gauges
Support in-process and final checks as assigned based on job requirements
Record inspection results and complete basic quality paperwork
Identify and communicate non-conforming or questionable work to the Quality team / department supervisor
Learn Uni-Fab quality standards, customer requirements and inspection processes
Assist with other general Quality activities as required.

Qualifications
College diploma in manufacturing capacity,



or high school diploma with equivalent work experience
Basic blueprint/drawing reading skills
Basic experience with tape measures, calipers or other measuring tools preferred
Manufacturing, fabrication or welding shop experience is an asset, but not required
Must be willing and able to learn our inspection methods and job shop requirements.
