Air Unlimited Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Field Applications Engineer – Compressed Air Systems to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, technical development, and coordination of custom compressed air system projects. This individual will work closely with customers, internal teams, and external partners to deliver high-quality, effective solutions tailored to client needs.
With their technical expertise, proactive mindset, and commitment to exceptional service, the Field Applications Engineer will play a key role in strengthening Air Unlimited Inc.’s reputation for innovation, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Research and evaluate new technologies and products relevant to the compressed air industry.
Attend factory technical training sessions to maintain product and technical knowledge.
Create and present proposals for large commercial and industrial clients.
Design compressed air systems and related equipment configurations.
Collaborate with Manitoba Hydro, SaskPower, and other utility programs to ensure compliance and optimization.
Develop custom technical solutions and present them effectively to customers.
Provide technical support to the sales team and assist in new system design and implementation.
Collaborate with consulting engineering firms as required for design and project development.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proficiency with SolidWorks and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Robust background or education in mechanical and/or electrical systems.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Self-starter with a high level of motivation and initiative.
Experience in project coordination or technical project management is an asset.
Experience in industrial or technical sales is an asset but not required.
Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Willingness to travel occasionally for project or customer support.
Education and Training
Post secondary education in Electrical Engineering/Technologist considered an asset
Required License or Certifications:
Class 5 Drivers License / Valid Passport
