In this position, you will drive the formulation and implementation of key planning policies while collaborating with stakeholders. A solid grasp of planning regulations and community needs is vital for success in this role. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement planning policies for the County
Support municipalities in interpreting planning regulations
Present planning issues to local councils
Research and collect data on planning topics
Represent the County at Ontario Land Tribunal hearings Requirements:
Degree in planning or a related discipline
Three years’ experience in policy planning
RPP designation or eligibility
Understanding of the Planning Act and regulations
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle Use your expertise to develop planning policies that serve the vibrant communities of Wellington County.
