As a Research Financial Analyst at UBC, you'll oversee the intricate financial details of research grants, including Tri-Agency and Government Grants.
You'll advise faculty on agency guidelines, monitor expenditures, and develop financial reports to optimize resource allocation. This role is critical to maintaining UBC's commitment to research funding integrity. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee financial reporting for various research grants
Guide researchers on budget development and compliance
Analyze financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies
Support the year-end reconciliation of project grants
Liaise with government agencies when necessary Requirements:
Relevant undergraduate degree required
At least two years of experience in finance
Familiarity with Workday or similar ERM systems
Solid problem-solving and analytical skills
