Step into a vital role as the Assistant Director of Care, focusing on operational excellence in our nursing team. This position blends clinical leadership with a commitment to culturally secure practices.
As the ADOC, you’ll report directly to the Director of Care and play a crucial role in overseeing resident-focused care. You will ensure compliance with the Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021, and engage with continuous quality improvement initiatives. A background in nursing leadership and the ability to foster connections with both staff and residents are essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities: • Support the vision, mission,
and values of the organization • Ensure adherence to the Residents’ Bill of Rights in care delivery • Spearhead clinical audits and compliance monitoring • Lead regular huddles and staff meetings for improvement • Mentor nursing staff and manage training programs
Requirements: • Valid RN credentials and nursing experience • At least two years in a managerial capacity • Solid clinical practice knowledge and electronic proficiency • Experience in developing care policies and procedures • Completion of a Criminal Background Check required
