Early Childhood Educator

Summit Community Services Society (SCSS) seeks an enthusiastic ECE to join our team. We are posting for Rocky Mountain Childcare Centre in Marysville BC. The candidate will practice according to IHA’s child care licensing regulations, the ECE code of ethics and the BC Early Learning Framework. The successful candidate will plan, lead, and guide activities throughout the day, such as reading, physical activity, and creative expression through art and song.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, carry out and evaluate developmentally appropriate activities and experiences for children 0 - school age; to encourage independence and growth in all areas of the children’s social, emotional and physical development.
Work in collaboration with co-educators.
Maintain open, respectful and positive communication with co-educators; parents and family members.
Follow and uphold all Licensing regulations and confidentiality guidelines.




Maintain an organized and a welcoming workplace.
Carry out regular daily cleaning and sanitizing duties.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIRED
ECE Certification
First Aid Certificate
Food Protected Certificate
Criminal Record Check
