Our client is a leading designer and builderof custom process‑equipment systems used across regulated and high‑performancemanufacturing sectors. They deliver fully engineered, fabricated, tested andcommissioned systems that support biotech, pharmaceutical, food, beverage,personal care and other advanced production environments. This is a hands‑on engineering role forsomeone who enjoys solving technical problems, coordinating multidisciplinarywork, and seeing their designs become operating equipment. TheOpportunity

As a

Process Engineer / Project Manager ,you will lead custom process‑equipment projects through the full design‑build‑delivercycle. You’ll own process design, project coordination and clientcommunication, ensuring equipment is delivered safely, on time and aligned withproject requirements. You’ll work directly with clients and leadinternal teams across process, mechanical, electrical and automation design,fabrication, testing and commissioning. KeyResponsibilities

ProcessDesign & Technical Leadership

Develop conceptual and detailed process designs for custom fluid‑processsystems. Create process descriptions, flow diagrams, P&IDs; and equipmentspecifications. Perform mass‑balance, heat‑transfer, hydraulic and thermodynamiccalculations. Specify major equipment, valves, instruments, piping and utilityrequirements. Provide technical input to mechanical, electrical and automationdesign. Lead technical reviews and ensure compliance with safety, code andquality standards. ProjectLeadership & Client Management

Champion projects from concept through fabrication, testing andcommissioning.



Establish priorities, coordinate resources and maintain projectmomentum. Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams to resolvetechnical and commercial issues. Track scope, schedule, budget, risks and decisions; escalatetr concerns early. Manage vendors and subcontractors, including scope, deliverablesand performance. Support fabrication teams to ensure design intent is achieved. Respond to shop‑floor questions and resolve constructabilityissues. Plan and participate in factory acceptance testing and on‑siteequipment testing. Support installation, commissioning, troubleshooting andvalidation. Capture lessons learned to improve future designs and projectexecution. Requirements

Degree in

Chemical Engineering

or

Mechanical Engineering . P.Eng

registration in Ontario or eligibility. Ability to apply engineering fundamentals to practical designchallenges. Solid project‑management, organizational and prioritizationskills. Clear communication skills and confidence working with clients,vendors and trades. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the regionsserved. $90,000 - $120,000 + benefits = RRSP matching Use of Artificial Intelligence(AI)
