Do you love fostering a supportive, engaging, and challenging learning workplace for elementary-aged learners? Sturgeon Public Schools is currently seeking a Full-Time Temporary Elementary Teacher for a work assignment at Bon Accord School.

Bon Accord Community School offers K-4 programming and is located approximately 20 minutes north of the City of Edmonton in the Town of Bon Accord. The school has a student population of approximately 240 students and a dedicated teaching and support staff working together as a team to provide exemplary education to all students. The school nurtures a safe and caring workplace by offering various programs to encourage strong leadership.

This assignment is subject to change based on operational requirements.

What You'll Be Doing
Lead a vibrant and inclusive Grade 2 classroom
Support early learners in developing foundational literacy and numeracy skills
Collaborate closely with colleagues to support student needs

What You Bring
A valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
Minimum of three years of experience teaching early elementary students
Deep understanding of early brain development
Proficiency in early literacy and numeracy




Proficiency in using educational technology
Enthusiasm for helping young learners grow in confidence and creativity
A flexible, student-centered approach
Clear Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check
