We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Heavy Equipment / Machine Operator with extensive experience working on rail projects. Duties
Operate ,excavator with precision and safety awareness
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on all equipment to ensure optimal performance
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members
Coordinate with project managers and team members to execute tasks efficiently and meet project timelines
Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues promptly and effectively




Support the setup and operation of specialized machinery like Caterpillar equipment and other industry-standard brands

Experience
Minimum 5 years of machine operating experience
Experience operating heavy equipment in construction environments
Railway experience is a robust asset
Experience operating Railavators / Hi-Rail excavators is an asset
Must be willing and able to travel throughout Ontario
Valid driver's licence
Strong commitment to workplace and railway safety
Reliable, professional and able to work as part of a crew
Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment on rail or similar infrastructure projects
Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting
Construction industry experience with a focus on rail infrastructure projects preferred
Knowledge of safety standards specific to heavy equipment operation in construction environments
