Assignment:
Part-time 0.50 FTE Temporary replacement Educational Assistant position
Supporting and assisting students with complex needs within Elementary and Junior High School
Daily from 8:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
Duties to commence August 26, 2026 and will continue until January 28, 2027

Qualifications and/or Assets:
Experience working with students with complex needs
Knowledge of speech, behavior modification strategies, and play based learning would be considered an asset
Effective oral and written communication skills
Robust interpersonal skills and a positive personality
Calm and patient approach to solving problems
Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented learning setting
Ability to work one on one with a student in an inclusive setting
Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant would be considered an asset
