Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Donut Production Assistant to join our team. This weekend (with possibility of week day extension) role involves assisting in the preparation, decoration, and packaging of delicious donuts in a quick-paced setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and food safety.

They must also be reliable, possess a high level of attention to detail and be a quick learner. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in cooking, decorating, and food handling within the vibrant food industry.

Duties
Assist in preparing donut batter and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed
Decorate donuts with icing, sprinkles, and other toppings
Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently for baking and frying processes
Package finished products carefully to maintain quality and presentation standards
Maintain cleanliness of workstations and adhere to food safety regulations




Support the team in inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Provide friendly customer service when interacting with customers

Requirements
Previous experience in food preparation, baking, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
Skills in food presentation are a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced setting
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with precision
Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high hygiene standards
