You will oversee electrical distribution, fiber projects, and collaborate with field crews. The ideal candidate is a university graduate in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, with solid project management and design skills. Key Responsibilities:
Design new electrical distribution and fiber utility projects
Coordinate planning of design work with consultants and contractors




Establish modeling software for the Electrical Utility
Liaise with field crews on project specifics
Advise on design work for utility projects Requirements:
University degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
Considerable engineering experience in the electrical utility field
Eligibility for registration as a Qualified Engineer or E.I.T.
Solid knowledge of electrical engineering design techniques
Valid BC Driver’s License Drive innovation and efficiency in electrical utility design with the City of New Westminster.
