Become a part time Health Care Aide at Extendicare, where you can provide compassionate care to seniors. Assist with personal care and daily living activities while enhancing well-being. In this role reporting to the Director of Health & Wellness, you will carry out personal care tasks under the guidance of a supervisor.

Key responsibilities include facilitating mobility, preparing meals, and observing patient conditions to communicate effectively with the care team. Commitment to quality care and solid communication skills are essential. Key Responsibilities:
Observe and report on changes in residents’ conditions
Provide daily personal care and hygiene support
Assist with resident transfers and ambulation
Uphold confidentiality of resident information
Engage with care agencies as directed Requirements:
Graduate of Health Care Aide program or equivalent
Experience in community health settings
Robust organizational skills and customer focus
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification preferred
Must obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check Provide dedicated support to residents as a valued Health Care Aide at Extendicare.
