Become a key player in enhancing resident experiences at Extendicare as a full time Therapy Assistant. Focus on providing targeted support and effective therapy program management. You will work under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist, responsible for coordinating therapy activities.

This role demands proficiency in assessing therapeutic needs, documentation, and a commitment to safety and privacy standards, ensuring the well-being of residents within a long-term care framework. Key Responsibilities:
Manage individual and group therapy sessions
Document resident interactions and therapy outcomes
Act as a liaison between families and care providers
Implement feedback for service quality improvements
Comply with Occupational Health and Safety guidelines Requirements:
Diploma in Therapy Assistant recognized
One year of relevant experience preferred
Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Solid English communication abilities
