Muskoka Life Homes is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team.

We are seeking a skilled and dependable individual who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, works well with others and independently, and is committed to maintaining a safe and skilled job site.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Complete residential carpentry work according to project plans and specifications
Perform rough and finish carpentry as required for each project
Read and interpret drawings, measurements and construction plans
Maintain a high standard of workmanship, accuracy and attention to detail
Work collaboratively with project leaders, coworkers and other trades
Help maintain clean, organized and safe job sites
Complete assigned work efficiently while meeting project timelines
Willing to work overtime when required to meet scheduled goals.

QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of 5 (five) years of professional carpentry experience or more is preferred.
Strong knowledge of upscale residential construction practices and materials
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Reliable, qualified and able to communicate respectfully with supervisors, coworkers,



clients and other trades
Ability to travel reliably to project sites throughout the Muskoka and Orillia area
Willingness to grow
Availability of working overtime during busy project periods
Appropriate safety footwear and personal protective equipment to meet code requirements
A valid driver’s license, acceptable driver’s abstract and reliable transportation are required
Other construction related experience an asset – applicants should list all associated skills and experience i.e. machines, tools and equipment competencies and capabilities
