We are looking for an experienced Dispatcher to join our transportation company. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with dry vans and reefers, strong knowledge of cross-border dispatching between Canada and the USA, and experience with load brokering.

Responsibilities:
Dispatch and coordinate drivers to ensure on-time pickup and delivery
Plan routes and schedules efficiently across Canada & USA
Source and book loads through load boards and brokers
Negotiate rates with brokers and customers
Monitor loads and proactively resolve delays or issues
Communicate with drivers, brokers, and customers daily
Maintain trailer pool and ensure proper trailer utilization
Track trailer locations and update systems accordingly
Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations

Requirements:
2–3 years of dispatching experience in the trucking/transportation industry
Experience with dry vans and reefers (required)
Proven experience with load brokering and load boards




Solid understanding of Canada & USA cross-border operations
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to multitask and work in a rapid-paced environment
Strong organizational and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with dispatch/load management software
Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
