My manufacturing client near Listowel, ON is seeking a very detail-oriented Controller. This is a crucial role for someone ready to ensure accurate financial management and contribute to a company undergoing exciting transitions. Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of day-to-day financial operations, including AP, AR and general accounting tasks
Process payroll for approximately 60 employees bi-weekly
Prepare and report on monthly and quarterly financial performance




Ensure accuracy of all financial numbers and resolve discrepancies
Comprehend and manage job costing and project-based accounting across different business divisions (office, shop, road)
Utilize Sage accounting software for all financial processes

Qualifications
Proven experience in a hands‑on controller role for a similar size organization
Accuracy with numbers is paramount
Experience with job costing/project-based accounting is highly preferred
Ability to comprehend business aspects
Proficiency with Sage is an asset
