Responsibilities:
Operate and locate directional drilling equipment safely and efficiently.
Complete underground utility installations and crossings.
Read plans, follow drill paths, and maintain accurate bore alignment and depth.
Perform utility locates, potholing/daylighting, and jobsite setup as required.
Mix and maintain drilling fluids and monitor drilling conditions.
Maintain equipment and ensure proper daily inspections.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and travel to job sites as required.
Requirements:
Experience with directional drilling and/or locating preferred.
Valid driver’s licence.
Solid mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently and as part of a crew.
Safety-focused and reliable.
