AJ’s One Stop Construction is looking for a reliable and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team on a part time basis, with the potential to transition into full time employment as our workload increases.
We work on a variety of residential construction and renovation projects. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is dependable, works well as part of a team, and is willing to learn.
Responsibilities
Assist with residential construction and renovation projects
Assist with demolition, framing, carpentry and general construction tasks
Load, unload and move tools and construction materials
Maintain a clean and organized job site
Safely use hand and power tools
Assist experienced tradespeople as required
Follow instructions and job-site safety procedures
Travel to various job sites as scheduled
Qualifications
Some previous construction or carpentry knowledge is preferred
Must have own basic construction hand tools
Must have a reliable vehicle and be able to travel to various job sites
Must be proficient in spoken English to understand instructions and communicate safely on the job site
Must be physically capable of performing construction-related duties
Must be dependable and punctual
Must be willing to learn and take direction
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliability is essential for this position. Our projects depend on our crew arriving on time and ready to work as scheduled. Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
