Job Summary The Third Key Holder plays a vital leadership role within the retail environment, supporting store management in daily operations and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for customers. This energetic position involves supervising team members, maintaining store standards, and upholding excellent customer service. As a key ambassador for the store, you will be responsible for managing sales transactions, merchandising, and ensuring the safety and security of the premises.

Your proactive approach and strong organizational skills will help drive sales, foster team development, and uphold store policies.

Responsibilities

- Assist in opening and closing the store, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately and efficiently
- Supervise daily store operations, including cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) transactions, and customer service interactions
- Support merchandising efforts by organizing displays, pricing products accurately, and maintaining visual standards
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly
- Oversee team members’ performance, providing coaching, training, and feedback to promote a motivated work environment
- Manage inventory levels through stock replenishment, and visual merchandising as needed
- Enforce store policies related to security, safety protocols, and cash handling procedures to minimize losses




- Assist with recruiting by participating in interviewing candidates and onboarding new staff members
- Support marketing initiatives by promoting sales events and engaging customers to enhance store visibility
- Participating and leading clienteling initiatives such as Outreach and Email Lists

Requirements

- Proven supervisory or team management experience within retail or customer service environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a broad customer base effectively
- Demonstrated proficiency in retail sales, merchandising, POS systems, and cash handling procedures
- Experience with recruiting, training & development, budgeting, and sales management is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in pricing, inventory control, and administrative tasks
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude
- Knowledge of marketing strategies and promotional activities to increase store traffic
- Strong math skills for bookkeeping tasks such as balancing registers and managing petty cash
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends as needed
