Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our Japanese cuisine team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the kitchen and a strong understanding of food handling, preparation, and safety protocols. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our meals are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality and presentation standards.
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as needed.
Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to maintain stock.
Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service times.

Requirements




Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a must.
Knowledge of food handling techniques and food safety regulations is essential.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
A passion for cooking and providing excellent service in the food industry.

Sushi Chef Job Responsibilities and Duties
Create sushi rolls and other Japanese dishes according to recipes and customer requests
Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety
Ensure that the kitchen area is clean and organized
Order and maintain inventory of food, supplies, and equipment

Job Types: Full time, Part-time Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
