You will be responsible for answering incoming calls, emails, faxes and written correspondence in a qualified and courteous manner.
Assisting employers and members with their group insurance and pension applications, claim and change forms and submitting the applications, claims and change forms to their insurance company.
Help members and employers by providing them with group insurance and pension information in a timely and accurate manner using online services. Able to investigate and solve member health, vision, dental, disability and death claim issues.
You will also work with our employer’s plan administrators to review, verify, advise, correct, calculate, and file group insurance and pension applications to group insurance and pension partners.
Support agents with their individual client’s investments and insurance administration issues.
Required skills: the ability to use a Windows PC with Microsoft Word and Excel. Additional skills that are helpful are experience with Contact Relationship Management software and Adobe Acrobat Standard software.
You must be able to work in a fast-paced, well-established team-oriented office workplace reporting to the Supervisor of Customer Service.
Other assigned duties as specified or requested.
The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with 1 hour for lunch. There is no overtime and no sales work.
Preference will be given to applicants who hold or have previously held a Manitoba Life Insurance License and/or Mutual Fund License. Training will be provided to the successful applicant.
Salary is negotiable based on experience and licensing.
