Backed by PE, our client is entering an exciting phase of growth and is looking for a Chief Financial Officer to join its senior leadership team.
Reporting directly to the President, the CFO will be both a financial leader and strategic business partner, helping drive profitable growth, geographic expansion and the development of the financial infrastructure required to scale the organization.
Key areas of focus:
Lead finance, accounting and controllership
Own forecasting for revenue, EBITDA, cash flow and working capital
Oversee construction accounting, WIP, job costing and project profitability
Partner with operations and project teams to improve forecasting and margin visibility
Provide strategic analysis and financial modelling to support growth decisions
Strengthen financial processes, systems and controls
Lead and develop the finance team The ideal candidate will bring:
10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience
Robust experience in construction, specialty contracting or another project-based workplace
Deep expertise in construction accounting and project financials
Robust forecasting, cash flow and controllership capabilities
Commercial and strategic acumen, with the ability to translate financial data into business decisions
Experience in a growth-oriented or private equity-backed environment is preferred
CPA designation is an asset
