Responsibilities
Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and engaging environment
Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
Administer medications accurately according to care plans and document all medication activities
Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing to maintain a protected and comfortable living space
Support clients with mobility challenges through protected transfer techniques and assist with walking or exercise routines




Monitor health status, report changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals or family members

Requirements
Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or home care settings preferred
Knowledge of patient care practices and senior care needs, including dementia and disability support
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for mobility assistance or transfers
Robust skills in meal preparation and medication administration following prescribed guidelines
Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills and patience
Ability to handle cleaning duties efficiently while maintaining hygiene standards
Valid certifications related to caregiving or healthcare are a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
