We are seeking a proactive and skilled Building Operator to oversee the maintenance, operation, and safety of a facility on a contractual basis. This energetic role requires a dedicated qualified capable of managing building systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring optimal functionality of all mechanical and electrical equipment. The Building Operator will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-maintained setting.
Duties
Inspect and monitor HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems daily to ensure safety and proper operation.
Perform preventative maintenance tasks, including filter changes, system testing, and equipment lubrication.
Repair minor property issues such as leaking pipes, broken fixtures, and damaged drywall.
Respond to tenant service requests and work orders promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with licensed outside contractors for major utility overhauls,
compliance inspections, and structural upgrades.
Document completed repairs, inventory usage, and safety inspections in the facility management log.

Requirements
Solid mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience minor electrical work, and troubleshooting complex systems.
Experience using CMMS software for managing maintenance workflows.
Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams accurately.
Knowledge of facilities maintenance best practices including safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
Excellent communication skills in English for explicit reporting and team coordination.
Ability to supervise contractors effectively
