We are looking for a full-time apprentice carpenter or skilled labourer who is a self-starter with energetic & results-oriented work style, solid analytical and problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

Characteristics Needed to Succeed:
Related work experience is considered an asset.
Valid class 5 drivers license and drivers abstract.
Ability to work in fast-paced workplace, under pressure, while meeting deadlines.
Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
Adherence to safety practices.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp requirements.
Demolish drywall, take down ceilings,



or otherwise prepare spaces for renovations.
Lay out flooring, roofing, or drywall to ensure they are level and compatible.
Carve and assemble cabinets, shelves, and other items as required and install them where designated.
Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of the material that are needed.
Build scaffolding and other construction structures.
Cut, shape and smooth lumber, fiberglass, and other material according to measurements.
Complete safety documentation.

Vulnerable sector criminal record check is required. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
