Your day-to-day responsibilities: As a driver at VA, you represent the company on the road and when interacting with customers.
Make deliveries and pickups according to the established schedule;
Drive a semi-trailer truck safely;
Handle merchandise (primarily appliances and furniture) when loading or unloading the trailer;
Provide impeccable customer service during deliveries and pickups;
Collect payments,



if applicable, and turn them over to the appropriate personnel;
Ensure the compliance and safety of your truck and cargo (RDS, maximum loads, transport documentation, etc.);

Do you have what it takes to rise to the challenge?
You hold a Class 1 driver’s license with an FM endorsement;
You are able to lift heavy loads and perform physically demanding work;
You have at least 2 years of experience driving heavy vehicles on Quebec roads (you must have driven in winter conditions);
You have an exemplary driving record;
You drive preventively and safely;
You are comfortable serving our customers in French and English (functional French required, as some customers are French-speaking);
If you hold a DEP in heavy vehicle driving, that is a plus
