Carewest seeks a passionate Physical Therapist to join our Calgary team, focusing on delivering rehabilitative care and maximizing client independence. This temporary, full time position involves engaging assessments, treatment recommendations, and effective discharge planning. As a Physical Therapist I, you will enhance the quality of life for clients in our Enhanced Regional Community Transition Program.
In this role, you will assess client needs, provide interventions, and supervise junior staff and students. Your contributions will be critical to assisting clients in returning safely to their communities while receiving top-notch care. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct personalized assessments and develop treatment plans
Oversee client discharge preparations and procedures
Mentor and support physiotherapy interns and support staff
Assess and recommend interventions for functional independence
Promote Carewest values of accountability and teamwork Requirements:
Master’s or equivalent in Physical Therapy
Eligibility for College of Physical Therapists of Alberta registration
Relevant clinical experience preferred
AADL authorizer status is a plus
