Division 03 Limited is seeking an experienced Formwork Carpentry Foreman for an upcoming commercial concrete project in Kentville, Nova Scotia.

Project Duration: Approximately 7 weeks, with potential for continued work on upcoming projects throughout HRM and Nova Scotia.

Scope of Work The project includes:
Commercial concrete formwork
Concrete footings and foundation walls
Snap-tie wall forming systems
Slab-on-grade work
Cantilevered concrete/formwork sections
Rebar and concrete coordination
Leading and coordinating a small site crew
Maintaining productivity, quality, and safe work practices

Requirements
Minimum 10 years of formwork/concrete carpentry experience
Previous Foreman or Lead Hand experience strongly preferred
Solid experience with commercial foundations, walls, footings, and forming systems
Able to read structural drawings and plan daily work
Comfortable directing carpenters and labourers
Strong understanding of layout, forming, placing, stripping, and concrete operations
Must be a union carpenter, or willing to become unionized. We can assist the successful candidate with the union process if required.

Compensation

Posted wage: $45/hour

Actual compensation will follow the applicable Carpenters Union Foreman classification/rate and agreement, including applicable benefits and other union compensation.

Opportunity

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the field operation and work directly with Division 03 management to execute the project safely, efficiently, and professionally.

This position is initially for the approximately 7-week Kentville project, with solid potential for additional work on future commercial concrete projects in HRM and throughout Nova Scotia.
