General Manager

Anderson's Transmission & Auto Care is seeking a dynamic and strategic General Manager to lead our retail operations with energy and vision. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales growth, and fostering a motivated team. As the leader of the store, you will oversee all aspects of daily operations, ensure smooth team management, and implement effective merchandising and marketing strategies. Your proactive leadership will inspire staff, optimize store performance, and uphold the highest standards of service and operational excellence.

Duties
Oversee daily store operations, ensuring effective workflow and high-quality customer service.
Lead, motivate, and supervise staff to achieve sales targets and operational goals.
Coordinate purchasing, inventory management, pricing strategies, and merchandising to maximize sales potential.
Develop and implement marketing initiatives to attract customers and increase brand visibility.
Monitor sales performance using POS (Point of Sale) systems; analyze data to inform strategic decisions.
Maintain excellent communication with staff and customers; resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Oversee store safety protocols,



organize training & development programs, and promote a positive work environment.

Skills
Solid negotiation skills with the ability to influence vendors and team members effectively.
Proven experience in retail management, including supervising teams in fast-paced environments.
Knowledge of merchandising strategies, pricing techniques, marketing tactics, and sales management.
Familiarity with POS systems, purchasing procedures, inventory control, and store management software.
Excellent communication skills paired with phone etiquette; adept at customer service excellence.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage time effectively under pressure.
Experience in budgeting, financial analysis, administrative tasks, and implementing sales initiatives.
