Join CBC Kids as an on-camera co-host and bring joy to young viewers. We're seeking local talent living with disabilities to showcase their unique voice and presence. This exciting role invites applicants from Toronto, Ontario, for the project slated to begin in October 2026.
Ideal candidates will exhibit an engaging, funny, and warm demeanor on camera, while the ability to sing or perform musically is a bonus. CBC encourages participation from Deaf and disabled individuals of all backgrounds and experiences. Key Responsibilities:
Co-host children’s segments with energy and authenticity
Create an engaging workplace for young audiences
Work closely with the creative team and directors
Attend rehearsals and contribute to fun ideas
Adhere to all content guidelines set by CBC Kids Requirements:
Must be a local resident of Toronto
Living with a disability and eligible to work in Canada
Engaging and warm personality on screen
Musicality is highly valued
