Timber Fabricator / Carpenter (Finishing & Production)

Location: Kamloops, BC

Compensation: $25.00 – $30.00/hour

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Timber Fabricator / Carpenter with hands-on carpentry or woodworking experience to support our timber fabrication process.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with wood, using tools, and producing high-quality finished products. The focus of this role is on timber fabrication, preparation, and finishing work within a production environment—this is not a Red Seal-required position.

What You’ll Do

- Assist in the fabrication and preparation of timber components based on production drawings
- Operate and support industrial woodworking equipment (including planer and Hundegger saws)
- Perform sanding, planing, trimming, and finishing work on timber products
- Read and follow cut lists and shop drawings (training can be provided)
- Inspect finished components to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized production workspace
- Participate in daily Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHAs)



and follow all safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet timelines and production targets

What You Bring

- Experience in carpentry, woodworking, finishing, or general construction
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Willingness to learn and work in a production setting
- Ability to follow instructions and work from drawings or specifications
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Assets (not required):

- Experience in a manufacturing or production setting
- Exposure to timber framing or engineered wood products
- Experience operating woodworking machinery
