We're looking for a Full-Time Lube & Tire Technician and/or Junior 310S Automotive Apprentice who wants to develop their skills, work with an experienced team and build a long-term career in the automotive industry.

About Us The Demeyere Family has been involved in local automotive businesses in Simcoe for over 60 years, with Simcoe Honda becoming part of the Demeyere Group in 2019.

Our brand-new facility and location opening this fall represents a major investment in the future of Simcoe Honda. We're looking for the right technician to grow with us.

The Role

Working alongside our experienced technicians, your responsibilities will include:

- Perform oil changes, tire changes and tire rotations
- Perform general maintenance and basic mechanical repairs
- Assist with vehicle inspections and identify required maintenance
- Work alongside licensed technicians to develop your automotive skills
- Assist with tire storage and seasonal tire changeovers
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
- Assist with general Service Department duties
- Complete work accurately and efficiently
- Provide a high level of workmanship and customer satisfaction





About You We're looking for someone who:

- Has a mechanical background and general knowledge of automotive repairs
- Has experience with vehicle lifts, tire changes and oil changes
- Is enthusiastic, energetic and willing to learn
- Is a self-starter who takes pride in their work
- Operates with integrity
- Has strong attention to detail
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Is interested in developing a long-term career in the automotive trade

Requirements
- 1st Year 310S Apprentice or aspiring apprentice preferred
- Automotive repair facility experience is an asset
- Valid driver's licence with clean abstract
- Able to supply your own toolbox and basic tools
