In this energized role, you will support the dental practitioner by preparing treatment areas, assisting during procedures, and ensuring a smooth, effective patient experience.

Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials, ensuring a sterile and organized environment for each patient
Assist dentist during a variety of procedures, including fillings, extractions, and pediatrics, providing support with precision and care
Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays), take impressions, images, all within the scope of your certification
Educate patients on post-treatment care, oral hygiene practices,



and preventive measures to promote long-trm dental health
Manage patient records using Dentally dental practice management software ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and OSHA standards to ensure safety for patients and staff

Experience
Certified Dental Assistant credential from an accredited program is required; previous experience in general dentistry is highly preferred
Good command of English language is a must
Proficiency with dental software systems is an asset but not mandatory; training can be provided
Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry improves communication with patients and team members
Robust understanding of infection control practices and OSHA regulations ensures compliance and safety standards are met
