Deliver strategic legal advice on governance and risk issues
Act as trusted advisor to City Council and administration
Oversee contract negotiation and litigation processes




Supervise external legal representation for various proceedings
Lead the management of the Legal Services Division Requirements:
Law degree (LLB or JD) and Bar admission with Ontario’s Law Society
At least ten years of progressive legal expertise
Knowledge of municipal governance and administrative law
Robust leadership and strategic planning experience
