Start Date: As soon as possible Safely transport students to and from school on all student attendance days
Regular cleaning of the bus
Adherence to protected bus driving procedures
Compliance with all personal protective equipment procedures




Regularly communicating with school Administration and Transportation Department personnel regarding student conduct
Conducting daily vehicle inspections as required by The Traffic Safety Act
Ensuring bus maintenance standards are being maintained and mechanical deficiencies are reported to the bus garage in a timely manner
Providing casual employees with an orientation to your bus, bus route and rules specific to your route
Minimum Class 5 license with School Bus "S" Endorsement
Previous experience working with children
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to deal with a broad range of students, staff and members of the general public
Basic computer skills
Defined Benefit Pension Plan 15,509.23 to $16,883.42 per hour base wage + $0.2770 per KM (over 80 km driven) and bus expense allowances.
