Responsibilities
Assist the Kitchen Manager in supervising daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking processes
Lead and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness
Oversee food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards
Support team management tasks such as interviewing, onboarding current staff, and conducting performance evaluations
Ensure efficient food service delivery by coordinating with front-of-house teams and maintaining smooth kitchen workflows
Uphold excellent customer service standards by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly




Enforce food safety protocols and maintain proper documentation for health inspections and audits

Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong supervisory background with team management and leadership skills
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for efficient cash handling and order processing
Excellent communication skills for interviewing, training, and motivating staff
Knowledge of restaurant management principles, including inventory control and quality assurance
Ability to thrive in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail
Experience in hotel or barista roles is a plus, demonstrating versatility across the food industry and hospitality sectors
