Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive automotive repairs, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical system diagnostics and fixes
Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components
Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and filter replacements
Lift heavy vehicle parts safely using proper techniques and equipment to ensure efficient repairs
Inspect vehicles thoroughly to identify issues and determine necessary repairs or replacements




Maintain detailed service records for each vehicle serviced, including parts used and work performed
Follow safety procedures consistently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues

Skills
Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
Journeyman Certification in automotive repair
Experience with troubleshooting complex & electrical issues is an asset
Excellent attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship
Good communication skills for explaining repairs and recommendations to customers or team members
