Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude with a background in automotive repair, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles while providing exceptional customer service.

This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot vehicle issues effectively.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed for repairs.
Operate power tools and other equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Communicate with customers regarding repairs needed and provide excellent customer service throughout the process.




Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintain high-quality standards.

Requirements
Proven experience in automotive repair or a related field is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various automotive systems.
Familiarity with dealership practices is a plus.
Ability to lift heavy objects as required for vehicle repairs.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications may be beneficial.
