Job Overview The Barrel Thief is seeking an energetic and passionate Bartender/Mixologist to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic cocktails and signature drinks, with precision and flair
Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and communicate needs to management promptly
Follow all food handling procedures to uphold safety standards and prevent contamination




Assist in serving food when necessary, supporting the overall restaurant operations during busy periods

Skills
Minimum two years experience
Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially as a bartender or mixologist
Strong knowledge of POS systems, including Micros POS, for efficient transactions
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests quickly and authentically
Effective time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, change calculation, and inventory management
Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude in quick-paced settings
Knowledge of the food industry standards for serving alcohol responsibly and ensuring guest safety
