Job Overview

We are seeking an Apprentice Butcher to join our team. As an apprentice, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, packaging, and labeling various types of meat products in a timely and precise manner.

Duties
Perform meat cutting and trimming according to specific customer requests
Package and label meat products for display and storage
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cutting area
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines
Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with meat selection and preparation tips
Collaborate with kitchen staff to fulfill orders and maintain inventory levels

Qualifications:
Experience as a Butcher or similar role in the food industry a plus
Basic knowledge of meat cutting techniques and of different cuts of meat




Solid understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent customer service skills with a passion for delivering high-quality products
Certification in food handling is a plus
