We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely towing vehicles, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring efficient operations. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle mechanics, safe driving practices, and the ability to handle various roadside situations professionally.
Duties
- Operate tow trucks to recover, transport, and deliver vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Respond promptly to roadside assistance requests and emergency calls.
- Inspect vehicles for damages and document conditions before and after towing.
- Assist with vehicle repairs or minor mechanical issues when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of all towing activities, including time logs and vehicle details.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly and professionally with clients.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during operations.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on tow trucks to ensure proper functioning.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Class 3 with air brakes
- Ability to drive manual transmission truck
- Mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair and vehicle systems.
- Experience with loader operation is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
- Knowledge of local roads, traffic laws, and safety procedures.
- Ability to operate tow trucks and related equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prior experience in commercial driving or roadside assistance preferred.
