PDQ Construction is seeking an experienced Tower Crane Rigger to join our construction team. The successful candidate must be dependable, safety-focused, and experienced working on high-rise and wood-frame construction projects.

Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of tower crane rigging experience
- Must have experience with both high-rise and wood-frame construction
- Valid Rigging Ticket/Certification
- Valid Fall Protection Certification
- Valid WHMIS Certification
- Strong knowledge of proper rigging procedures, crane signals, load control, and safe lifting practices
- Capable of completing and documenting required daily, weekly, and monthly inspections
- Able to identify damaged or unsafe rigging equipment and remove it from service
- Must follow all site safety procedures and company policies
- Physically capable of performing rigging duties in an active construction environment and working at heights
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with crane operators, supervisors, and other trades




- Reliable attendance is essential — must show up on time and ready to work every scheduled day

Responsibilities
- Inspect rigging equipment before use and ensure all equipment is safe and appropriate for the lift
- Rig and secure loads for tower crane lifts
- Direct and communicate with the tower crane operator using approved hand signals and/or radio communication
- Maintain control of loads during lifting and placement
- Perform required daily, weekly, and monthly rigging inspections
- Maintain accurate inspection records as required
- Follow lift plans, site procedures, and all applicable safety requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Report damaged equipment, unsafe conditions, and safety concerns immediately
- Work closely with site supervision and the crane crew to keep lifting operations safe and productive

Only applicants who meet the minimum experience and certification requirements will be considered. Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour
